Constructed in a sprawling campus, spread over 40 acres of land Aladi Aruna College of Nursing has world class physical infrastructure. It is located at Sivalarkulam, 5 Kms from Alangulam Bus Stand on Tirunelveli Tenkasi Highway and well connected to the Railway station. The well planned infrastructure encompasses Academic blocks, Administrative blocks, Faculty Offices, library, Laboratories and Hostel.
The class rooms are well ventilated & modernized with smart board facilities.
The college have multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 300 members are available to conduct conference, seminars, symposium, & worshops. The hall is equipped with the latest audio – visual gadgets & LCD projector
The Transformation of students as outstanding professionals truly lies in the hands of the faculty in any education institution. The Aladi Aruna College of Nursing has distinct faculty with Post graduate qualification coupled with vast experience learned from the clinical field. The faculty are placed in six departments namely Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Maternity Nursing. Each Department is headed by a Professor and supported by Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers . The faculty are determined to impart quality Education to the students, which has brought laurels in the University Examination.
In all the semesters the observational visits of students to various organizations are arranged as per the requirements prescribed by The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University. The students picnic is also permitted once in year to the places of interest suggested by the students.
The Library is constructed in such a way so as to facilitate students learning. It comprises of Reading Rooms, Journal Section, Facilities for Photocopying, Data processing and Internet browsing with good collection of Latest edition of books and journals of both Indian and foreign publications.
The College Library is fully equipped with numerous books & journals e. Journals are available for students.
The Library in kept open from 8.30am to 5.00pm on all working days.
The College Offer a comfortable hostel accommodation to the students with in the campus. The total built up area 35000 sqft under the care of resident wardens. A comfort able mess hall has also been provided. The hostel rooms are provided with table, chairs, shelf, beds & separate bath room & toilets in each floor. The other common facilities includes availability of Telephone, Television & space for indoor & outdoor games. It has 24 hours security under CCTV camera with security guards.
Aladi Aruna College of Nursing Provides good opportunity to our students to translate their hands on simulation lab
training into real practice with the close supervision and guidance of nursing faculty. They get wide range of exposure to different
speciality fields from Government head quarters hospital tenkasi. Such as cardio thoracic, respiratory, gastro-intestinal Ortho,
oncology, pediatric, obstetrics & gynecology including Rural and urban primary health centre. For mental health nursing students are
posted in IMH Kilpauk Chennai.
Clinical training at Government hospital is one of the best and cherishing experience to the students and they will be ready to take up
the role as a nurse successfully after completing the course.
