The Aladi Aruna Foundation was started in the year 2007 in memory of Mr. Aladi Aruna – born into a humble family in a small village called Aladipatti, in Tirunelveli district. Mr. Aladi Aruna through his sheer hard work, determination and perseverance excelled in the fields of literature and politics both at the state and national level.
He was deeply passionate about providing quality health care and education of the highest standards to the rural and downtrodden communities. To fulfill his lofty ideals, the AAF has conducted numerous health camps, supports children who require life-saving medical treatment, and provides scholarships to deserving underprivileged students.
The foundation has launched a mobile health clinic to cater to the needs of the rural masses in the Tenkasi District. The Chairman and trustees dedicate the college of nursing to Thiru. Aladi Aruna to fulfill his long-cherished dream of a robust, inclusive and a developed society.
