:: Location And Infrastructure Constructed in a sprawling campus, spread over 40 acres of land Aladi Aruna College of Nursing has world class physical infrastructure. It is located as Sivalarkulam, 5 Kms from Alangulam Bus Stand on Tirunelveli Tenkasi Highway and well connected to the Railway station. The well planned infrastructure encompasses Academic blocks, Administrative blocks, Faculty Offices, library, Laboratories and Hostel. :: Laboratory Facilities The laboratories for Anatomy, Nutrition, fundamentals of Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, maternity nursing, Audio Visual aids and computers offer best learning facilities to develop the technical skills before the students have practice on patients. :: Clinical Experience The Clinical experience for students are offered at District Head Quarter Hospital, Tenkasi and Sakthi Hospital Tirunelveli which comprises of over 300 bed strength in all. A variety of patients are available for the students to learn, both male and female, of all ages, at different stages of illness. The faculty are posted for guiding the students in all the area at a ratio of 1:10 :: Faculty Infrastructure The Transformation of students as outstanding professionals truly lies in the hands of the faculty in any education institution. The Aladi Aruna College of Nursing has distinct faculty with Post graduate qualification coupled with vast experience learned from the clinical field. The faculty are placed in six departments namely Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Maternity Nursing. Each Department is headed by a Professor and supported by Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers . The faculty are determined to impart quality Education to the students, which has brought laurels in the University Examination. :: Educational Visit And Tours In all the semesters the observational visits of students to various organizations are arranged as per the requirements prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University. The students picnic is also permitted once in year to the places of interest suggested by the students. :: Library The Library is constructed in such a way so as to facilitate students learning. It comprises of Reading Rooms, Journal Section, Facilities for Photocopying, Data processing and Internet browsing with good collection of Latest edition of books and journals of both Indian and foreign publications. :: Transportation The students are privileged to have transport which enable them to reach District head Quarter Government Hospital, Tenkasi / Sakthi Hospital Tirunelveli and other areas of clinical posting. The faculty have also pick up and drop facilities between the college and their Residence. :: Hostel facilities The hostel block built in the whole of the campus is a home away from home for female students. The hostel provides excellent living rooms, recreation facilities, sanitary facilities and food water supply for 24 hours. |
